Kanata Civic Art Gallery

I'm proud to announce that I have been accepted as a member of the Kanata Civic Art Gallery.  I moved to Kanata a few years ago and have grown to appreciate the community and green spaces. We live right near Beaver Pond and this has had a great influence on my art. Daily walks near and by the pond have been bringing in lots of inspiration, you can often see me there with my camera collecting images for future paintings and drawings. All this to say, being a member of my local gallery brings me lots of joy and I look forward to getting to know all the other artists.

As a new member I'm a part of the first show of the year titled "New year, New view" and have one piece in the show. It's a small 12x12 inch oil painting of a Yellow breasted warbler that I saw on one of my walks around Beaver pond in Kanata, you can see it below. It's also been framed in a beautiful white oak floater frame.

There is a vernissage for New year / New view is on Saturday February 10th from 1 to 3pm.

The gallery is located at 2500 Campeau Drive in Kanata.
