All hands on Deck 2022

I'm happy to be participating in All Hands on Deck 2022 #AHOD2022, it's been a few years since I participated and it feels good. 

All Hands on Deck is an annual fundraiser in Ottawa, Canada, where artists create skateboards that are auctioned off to raise funds for a charity. This year the funds raised will be going to the Red Cross to help support those in the Ukraine. The show this year looks like it's going to be the largest to date, I don't know the board count at this time but it could be the largest art show of skateboard decks in Canada. This fundraiser is generously facilitated by Beyond the Pale, a great local brewery and curated by Dan Martelock, a local artists and community organizer.

I'm into birds these days so that is what I've done. I've painted a simple deck, paying homage to the colours of the Ukraine flag with a white breasted warbler that was a regular in my backyard in the late winter and early spring. Here is a reel from my instagram.
